वृंदावन, जिसे श्रीकृष्ण की लीला-भूमि कहा जाता है, सदियों से भक्तों के हृदय में एक पवित्र तीर्थ के रूप में बसता आया है। यह वही स्थान है जहाँ भगवान कृष्ण ने अपना बचपन बिताया, नटखट बालक से लेकर दिव्य नायक तक की अपनी अद्भुत लीलाओं को प्रकट किया। यहाँ की हर बाला, हर वृक्ष, हर कुंज में कृष्ण की उपस्थिति का अनुभव होता है।
वृंदावन का इतिहास अत्यंत प्राचीन है। कहते हैं कि जब भगवान कृष्ण ने धरती पर जन्म लेकर मथुरा और गोकुल में लीलाएँ कीं, तब उन्होंने अपने गोप-गोपियों के साथ मिलकर वृक्षों से घिरे इस स्थान को वृंदावन बनाया—जहाँ ‘वृंदा देवी’ (तुलसी) की कृपा सदैव बनी रहती है। यमुना तट की दिव्यता, कदम्ब के वृक्षों की छाया और रासलीला की गूँज आज भी यहाँ महसूस की जा सकती है।
यहाँ स्थित प्रसिद्ध मंदिर—बांके बिहारी मंदिर, प्रीम मंदिर, इस्कॉन मंदिर, निधिवन और सेवा कुंज—हर भक्त को श्रीकृष्ण के प्रेम और भक्ति में डूबो देते हैं। वृंदावन केवल एक तीर्थ ही नहीं, बल्कि आस्था, भक्ति और दिव्य प्रेम का जीवंत रूप है।
